Inspired and original look

Kareena VS Priyanka

I have always been a Kareena fan. I don't think she is as great of an actor as she claims to be, but I always found her to be very glamorous. She is a bit spoiled and arrogant, much less now than before, but regardless I still think she is classy. Her acting has improved and she actually did a decent job in Golmaal 3.

Priyanka on the other hand is a superb actress. I think she can carry the weight of a movie all by herself. She has improved tremendously since starting, and can do a diverse range of roles, which I'm not sure Kareena can. I thought she was great in What's your Rashee, portraying 12 different characters! The movie was pretty entertaining even though it didn't get great reviews, but I do think that it was because of her that it got the attention it did since Harman Baweja is not a well known actor. There aren't many actresses that can draw in an audience like she can. She has set herself apart from other actress by a variety of roles and not just playing only the eye candy in the movie. But I think Kareena has also done that, and can also draw an audience.

But when it come to choosing sides, I always have to go with Kareena. Recently in an Koffee with Karan interview Kareena was asked what she would like to ask Priyanka, and she replied "Where did she get her accent from?". Priyanka's reponse was that she got is from the same place that Kareena's boyfriend, Saif, did. Here is a video of the interview:

I thought the question was funny, and the response was a bit bitter. I didn't know this but Saif did some school in England, so perhaps that's where he picked up his accent. Priyanka claims to have studied in The States, and hence the reason for her accent. However, she only studied there for two years (according to the trusty internet) when she was 14ish. This isn't enough time to lose your native accent and pick up a new one, also at that age it is quite hard to lose an accent. So, I don't think she picked it up there. I think it's something she thinks makes her sound more sophisticated and so she puts it on. She was Miss World and probably got lessons in speaking etc.

I know the Indian accent is the most attractive, but there is nothing wrong with it. People should be proud of themselves regardless of what others say.

What do you think?

Team Priyanka or Kareena?

Here is a video of Priyanka speaking, she seems to have lost her 'western' accent.

Nine West Shoes

I saw these shoes more than a month ago and really wanted them, but held off on buying them.  Finally I decided to just get them.  I was originally going to get the black ones but got these instead because I don't have shoes this colour.

Monikangana Dutta

I haven't seen Guzaarish yet, but the movie is getting mixed reviews.  I don't judge a movie based on reviews anyways so I'll see for myself.  Anyways, I came across this picture of Monikangana and I really liked her makeup and earrings in it.  The top isn't bad either.
Enjoy!

Travel Photos

I recently lost all my pictures because my computer crashed :(  Yes, I should have backed them up, but I didn't.  I was just about to get around to doing it, really, but alas it wasn't meant to be.  Here is a slide show of some of the pictures.

e.l.f in Canada

I was in Dollarama today at Scarborough Town Center and I happened to see e.l.f make up brushes.  I have heard many youtube makeup gurus talk about e.l.f brushes as good quality brushes.  They aren't as good as some of the pricier ones but are of a good value since they are sold at reasonable prices (So I've heard).   I have never seen them sold any where in Canada but have always wanted to try them, so it was exciting to see the brushes at Dollarama....but they did only carry the eyeshadow brush.  I haven't tried it to apply eye shadow yet, but the hair is very soft!
